Yes, the leasing company will govern the truck at 65mph on the pedal and 68mph on cruise until the truck is paid off. Contractors bringing their own equipment are not required to be governed

No. We require 12 months of OTR experience.

You will receive written and hands-on flatbed training that will prepare you to be a successful in running flatbed as an Owner Operator or Lease purchase driver.

Unfortunately, 12 months of OTR experience is required to train.

The Carrier One headquarters is in Griffith, Indiana.

Orientation is not paid, but we will cover your travel, and lodging along with breakfast and lunch while you are here.

They are more than welcome to relax at the hotel. Orientation is designed for the driver only.

No! You will be booked a private room.

Valid Class A CDL, Valid Medical Card, Voided Check, Clothing and gear for at least 1 week on the road, and Steel Toed Boots. If you are running under a business or LLC, we will also need a copy of your FEIN and Articles of Incorporation.

Drug testing, new contractor paperwork, meetings with Operations, Safety, Recruiting, Accounting and Ownership.

If training is not needed, you are dispatched on your first load! Carrier One will not send you home to wait for your truck after onboarding. Show up ready to work!

For drivers with flatbed experience, 2 days. For Flatbed trainees, it is a total of 4 days.

We will book you a rental car! You just need to show up with your CDL. Reimbursement is also offered for drivers who find their own way to orientation.

Carrier One will book you a private hotel room and cover the costs.

Carrier One will cover breakfast at the hotel and lunch at the terminal. Drivers are responsible for dinner.

Your fleet manager will get you loaded home.

Trucks are assigned by the leasing company based on availability and your truck preferences. We work alongside you to determine your truck assignment, when possible, before you arrive for orientation.
